Goodnestone Park Wedding
CBH were delighted to be able to contribute to a wonderful day for Ollie and Rachel at this beautiful old Kent Country Estate owned by Lady Fitzwalter.
The village would not have known what hit them as the bride’s family and friends descended from Australia to sample a Wedding Breakfast showcasing the best of local produce and CBH talent. Champagne and Kent strawberries were washed down with canapés including:
Canapes
Smoked salmon, tomato, dill, sour cream blinis
Cheddar sable, goat’s cheese, sun blush tomato & basil
Asparagus crostini, lemon mayonnaise
Guests were treated to a wonderful dinner with a main course of Romney Marsh Lamb followed by a Kent Strawberry trio of desserts.
The grounds of this wonderful old house reverberated to the local band sound mixed in with the unmistakeable “Aussie Colourful Folk songs”. A truly wonderful occasion followed the next day when the locals played the Aussies in a re run of the Ashes series.
